Mountain Climbers (Age 55 and Above) |

All CMPCers age 55 and up are invited to join us. Unless a special event is planned, we meet for dinner and fellowship on the third Monday of each month, September through May. Dinner is a catered meal at 6:30pm, followed by a program. The cost of the meal is $8.00, paid at the door. Reservations are necessary to insure enough food is prepared by the caterer.
Our meetings are informative and fun, providing fellowship opportunities with everyone in this age bracket. We plan special programs with you in mind and we’re open to your suggestions. Through a variety of other special events, our Mountain Climbers are nurtured to further grow in their individual walk with the Lord Jesus.
Mountain Climbers serve our congregation in many ways, such as on the Session, the Diaconate, and the Women’s Ministry Council, in the Choir, teaching Sunday School and VBS and on short-term mission teams. Their gifts continue to play a vital role in the spiritual growth of our larger Church family.
Our Mountain Climbers exemplify the faith and obedience of Caleb, the Old Testament saint whose lifelong devotion to the Lord continued well into his eighties (Josh. 14:6-14). They serve as vibrant examples of what it means to live all of life under the Lordship of Christ.
